Everyone always talks approximately losing weight & going on a diet. People are always searching the internet for ways to lose weight quick & easy. Let me tell you, I have lost 53 pounds in the past year & it was not quick or effortless or painless. Losing weight has been the most difficult thing I have ever done.
I have always had trouble with my weight. I have been overweight most of my adult life. But before I received pregnant with my first child, I really started gaining weight. Then I had my baby & didn’t lose the weight. Then I received pregnant again. After that pregnancy I was the highest I had ever been at 222 pounds. I didn’t want to be a fat mommy. So I had to alter my lifestyle. I started counting my calories & exercising.
The weight started coming off. I always looked at the success stories of people who have lost weight & I felt so inspired. I never dreamed that one day I could be a success story. I’m still not finished yet, yet what I have accomplished so far is a success. I am currently down to 169 pounds & I am pleased to say I am overweight! When you are obese for so long, finally getting down to the “overweight” category is a pretty astonishing feeling.
I went from a size 18 pants to a size 12. I feel so much better. But I’m not done. My goal weight is 125. I have a long way to go, yet I’ve come this far. I know I can go all the way. Please visit my blog, Cardio & Kids to keep up with my progress.
